Most patients benefit from a professional cleaning every 6 months. Patients with gum disease or higher risk of cavities may need to come in every 3–4 months. We'll recommend the frequency that's right for you.

Yes! We welcome patients of all ages. We recommend children have their first dental visit by age 1 or when their first tooth appears, whichever comes first.

We understand dental anxiety is very common and take it seriously. Our entire team is trained to help anxious patients feel comfortable. We encourage you to share your concerns with us — we'll go at your pace and explain everything as we go.

Most major PPO plans are accepted — the full, current carrier list is on our insurance page. Bring your insurance card to your first visit, or send your plan details when you book, and we’ll have your benefits verified before you arrive. No insurance? Monthly financing is available through Cherry.

Bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card, and a list of any medications you take. If you’ve had X-rays taken elsewhere in the last year or two, ask that office to email them to info@koladentistry.com so we may not need to retake them. Completing your new patient forms online beforehand saves time as well.

Plan for about 60 to 90 minutes. That covers a full-mouth exam, digital X-rays, a cleaning when time allows, and an unhurried conversation with the dentist about anything you want to address.

Yes — new patients without dental insurance pay $99^* for their first visit, which includes a comprehensive exam (D0150), a panoramic X-ray (D0330), and a full-mouth X-ray series (D0210) as clinically needed — regularly $430 at our office fees. You leave with a clear picture of your oral health and a written plan with real prices.

Offer terms: available to new patients without dental insurance; may not be combined with any dental benefit plan or government program; a routine cleaning is not included and, if recommended, is $125 (if gum therapy such as scaling and root planing is diagnosed instead, it is quoted separately); any additional treatment is recommended only as needed and quoted at our regular published fees before being performed; fees current as of August 2026 and subject to change.

Many insured patients owe little or nothing for a first visit, since many of the plans we accept cover exams and X-rays at 100%.
