Dental Implants
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots — typically titanium — surgically placed into the jawbone to permanently replace missing teeth.
Why patients choose implants
- Look and feel like natural teeth, often enhancing your smile
- Strong and durable, built to last many years
- Restore natural chewing, speech, and confidence
- Prevent the bite problems that come from shifting teeth
- Provide secure support for a crown, bridge, or denture
The treatment process
Implant treatment happens in stages: first, we take images and molds to evaluate your jawbone and plan the procedure. The implant is then surgically placed under anesthesia, followed by a healing period — sometimes up to several months — while it integrates with the bone. Depending on the implant type, a second minor procedure may follow before your custom-made artificial tooth is fabricated and attached, typically over one to two months.
Aftercare
Good oral hygiene, healthy eating habits, and regular dental visits go a long way toward keeping your implant in great shape for years to come.
